Snack Mahana RESA

We rented a car for 4 hours from the Hilton. Drove up the Belvédère to the lookout, went pearl shopping and the supermarket on the east side of the island. Had lunch at snack mahana.Our table was right on the water. Super fresh food. Huge portions that were cheaper than lunch at the Hilton. We could’ve easily shared one meal. They have wine, beer, juice and water. friendly service, cash only. We got the fried mahi-mahi and raw fish marinated in coconut milk. So tasty! Highly recommended! This isn’t fancy at all. Very casual. No Ac. This was the best meal we had on Moorea, but we only ate 3 meals out of the resort.I also heard the nearby poke and Vietnamese place are good.

Enjoyed it so much we came two days in a row. Tuna burger and grilled mahi were fabulous. Gorgeous desserts so save room. Tiare ice cream is delicately flavored with a local flower and worth expanding your horizons. Efficient, quick kind and friendly service made us feel welcome. Save a slice of your bread to feed the fish. Kids loved this. Beautiful view of the lagoon and surf. Park on the roadside. It is busy so arrive early or try a weekday.

We had steaks, rice, fries, and a kids burger. The food was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. They gave us a bowl of French bread. We ate most of the bread, and fed the rest to the fish. Our girls loved it! It was quite an experience.Also, the food was amazing.

We came just after it opened and were quickly seated at table by the water. I ordered fried mahi with coconut sauce and my spouse ordered the curried shrimp. The atmosphere for the snack shop is casual, seating is covered, and we had water view. Cash only. Would highly recommend for the price, seating fills up quickly and appears to be popular.

Snack Mahana lived up to its reputation. Food was fantastic! Great curry shrimp and moist flavorful tuna. It gets very busy here during lunch, so make sure you get a table early. Wait time on food was fine and staff were friendly and attentive. Most diners will park in the road, as there is limited parking. Highly recommend

Wow, just wow.We have been twice for lunch during the 4 days we were in Moorea.Amazing people, great setting and delicious food. Raw tuna with coconut milk is a must
